INSTALLATION AND ADJUSTMENT INSTRUCTIONSFOR TUBULAR MOTOR
Not included as a standard accessory
1. INSTALLATION
Attention:
- never hit the exit pins;
- do not drill holes in the tube with the gearmotor motor inserted;
- never hit the square pin (F fig. 1) of motor to fit it into the tube;
- never hit the exit pin or the driving pulley as this may damage the reducer.
Installation:
After checking that no components are missing from the pack, proceed as follows:
- Insert the ring (G fig. 1) into its seat making sure not to turn it until installation has been com-
pleted;
- mount the pulley (D fig. 1) together with its spring cotter pin (I fig. 1);
- fit the gearmotor (A fig. 1) into the tube (B fig. 1) until its end leans on the shoulder (C fig. 1)
of the ring (G fig. 1);
If a tube less than 1 mm thick is used, fasten it with two screws to the driving pulley (D fig. 1) in
order to prevent it from slipping or the motor from shifting axially inside the tube.
Only for installation of the MRT gearmotor:
- fix the rolling shutter to the tube (B fig. 1);
Attention: make sure the screws are not long enough to interfere with the fixed part (A
fig. 1) of the gearmotor;
fix the end (E fig. 1) to a normal bracket after fitting a cap. Fasten the square pin of the gearmotor
(F fig. 1) to one of the supports, supplied on request, or to other brackets that are more suitable
to the specific situation, making sure that the motor remains at right-angles to its fixing surface
(see fig. 5).
