• If necessary, disconnect the mains plug of the connected electrical equipment.
• Check the engine oil level (see chapter "Checking the engine oil level").
• Check the air filters (see chapter "Cleaning the air filter").
• Check the ventilation grills and slits for dirt accumulation (see chapter
"Checking the ventilation grills and slits").
• Carry out a visual inspection and check if all the parts are clean and
undamaged.
• If you start the power generator in a room, connect an exhaust gas hose to
the power generator and switch on the extraction device.
• Make sure that the tank cap vent lever
• Open the Petrol cock
Turn it anticlockwise until the blade
is in the "ON" position.
• Switch the on/off switch
engine to "ON".
• Press the choke lever
carefully to the right as far as
it goes.
• Hold the generator by the carrying handle
• Grasp the start cable pull
• Pull out the start cable pull with a swing.
• Repeat the last two steps if the generator does not start.
• When the generator has started, slowly push the choke lever to the left until it
stops.
• Allow the generator to run for at least one minute without running the
connected electrical equipment.
