Residual risks

Despite proper use, non-obvious residual risks cannot be completely ruled out.
The following hazards may occur due to the type of generator:
− Due to unforeseeable, excessive wear, e.g. rusting of the fuel tank, petrol
can spill on hot parts and ignite. The tank may explode.
− Risk of electric shock resulting in death caused by unpredictable defects of
the electrical equipment that are connected.
− The exhaust gas emissions may increase due to unpredictable, excessive
wear and endanger health and pollute the environment.
− Fuel or engine oil may leak due to unpredictable, excessive wear and
pollute the environment.

General safety information

Read the warnings and safety instructions carefully. Failure to follow
the warnings and safety instructions may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious injuries.
Retain all the warnings and safety instructions for future reference.
The term "power tool" used in the safety instructions refers to tools
operated using mains power (with power cable).
1) Work area safety
a) Keep your work area clean and well lit. Disorderly and dark work
areas can lead to accidents.
b) Do not work with the power generator in potentially explosive
atmospheres containing flammable liquids, gases or dusts.
Sparks may be generated when using the power generator which
can ignite the dust or vapours.
c) Keep children and other persons away when using the power
generator.
2) Electrical safety
a) Check the power generator and its electrical equipment
(including cables and connectors) before use to ensure that
