Safety
3) Personal safety
a) Be alert, pay attention to what you are doing, and use common
sense when working with the power generator. Do not use
the generator if you are tired or under the influence of drugs,
alcohol or medication. One moment of carelessness when using
the power generator may result in serious injuries.
b) Wear personal protective gear and always wear ear protection.
Wearing personal protective gear reduces the risk of injuries.
c) Prevent unintentional start-up. Ensure that the power generator
is turned off before starting service and maintenance work or
moving it.
d) Remove the setting and testing tools before turning on the
power generator. A tool or a key left in a rotating part may result in
injuries.
4) Using and handling the power generator
a) Do not overload the power generator. Use electric power tools
that are intended for your work. You can work better and safer if
you work within the specified rated values and ambient conditions.
b) Do not use a power generator whose switch is faulty. A power
generator that can not be switched on or off is dangerous and has to
be repaired.
c) Get damaged parts repaired before using the power generator.
Check if moving parts are working properly and are not jammed,
broken or damaged.
d) Use the power generator, accessories, tools, etc. according to
these instructions. Consider the usage and ambient conditions
as well as the work to be performed. Using the power generator
for applications other than for which it is intended, may result in
hazardous situations.
5) Service
a) Get your power generator repaired only by qualified technicians
and only using original spare parts. This ensures that the unit is
always safe to operate.
