CONDENSATE NEUTRALISER KIT
This instruction manual is an integral part of the manual for the system in which this kit is installed. Refer to that
manual for all GENERAL SAFETY INFORMATION and PRECAUTIONS.
NEUTRALISER KITS N2, HN2, N3 and HN3 increase the pH of condensate captured from boiler flue gases or pro-
duced by condensing systems to a value between 6.5 and 9. Once treated in this way, condensate can be disposed of
through the normal municipal drain/sewer network.
NEUTRALISER KITS N2 and N3 are designed for use in systems where the drain pit for boiler condensate is located
beneath the condensate outlet from the boiler. Because condensate can drain by gravity, these neutralisers do not need
a pump or any electrical cabling.
NEUTRALISER KITS HN2 and HN3 are designed for use in systems where the boiler condensate drain point is located
above the boiler condensate outlet. These neutralisers therefore require a pump.
The height difference the pump can overcome is equivalent to the maximum head of the pump minus the resistance
offered by the drain hose. The pump is controlled by an electrical level switch. The electrical connections have an index
of protection IP54.
