Hi,
I had the same problem but resolve now
1- you does not need external PSU (Power supply unit ?) even you use MIDI out to control
your hard synths
2-channel A1 to A16 are USB only - Channel B1 to B16 are MIDI out socket working
This configuration work fine for me (iMac -Mac OSX 10.8.5, Edirol UM-550 MIDI patchBay -
Prophet 08, Blofeld, NordLead 4R, Ableton Live 9, Protools 12HD and.................. VIP
software)

HI Jeremy,
Thanks for posting!
You'll need to set all the parameters to send out a "B" port. A1-16 is USB, B1-16 is the Midi
Out port. You can do this using the common channel in your Global menu (you'll need to
do this anyway for the keys) or just set every parameter individually. Make sure the channel
number lines up with the JP-08.
After doing this, remember to save a preset! Start by selecting a generic preset, make your
changes and then go back to the main window and select "Save." You can then change the
name and recall this the next time you use the board. Remember, Global settings (like
Common Channel) are saved separately, so save your Global settings on the last page of the
Global menu as well.

Bonjour @ toutes et à tous.
J'aimerai avoir les avis de ceux qui ont fait ce chainage pour obtenir cette polyphonie de 8
(mon second JP est en route).
Du coup qu'est ce qui se passe quand on veut contrôler les JP via cubase en USB ?
Lequel doit être connecté en USB2 et l'autre non ? Ou les deux obligatoirement ?
Est-ce que le second JP capture le son du premier, ensuite renvois les deux signaux AUDIO
mergés en stéréo via usb ?
