4. MAINTENANCE
1. If you are planning to leave the compressor
unused for a long period (e.g. 6 months), let the
MOTOR COOL DOWN, then pour 4 or 5 drops
of motor lubricating oil, from the suction filter and
operate it for approximately one minute, to allow
the oil film to spread on the face and liner, and
to protect it from possible scaling.
2. The engineering department advises the
customers not to use cable extension.
If the use of an extension proves strictly
necessary, we recommend the use of the fol-
lowing dimensions: max lenght 5 meters,
cable diameter 2,5 sqmm.
This measure is the maximum allowed. If nee-
ded, the air delivery tube can be lenghtened. If
the above instruction are not observed, the com-
pressor may fail to operate properly, due to the
voltage drop caused by the cable extension.
This situation could SERIOUSLY DAMAGE the
motor winding.
5. GUARANTEE
We have tested all our machines and they have
a 24-months guarantee for manufacturing
defects. The guarantee starts on the purchase
date. This date corresponds to the date present
on the receipt given at the moment the retailer
delivers the machine.
The manufacturer fixes or replaces for free all
the elements that - within the guarantee period
- have manufacturing defects. Defects which
are not due to the material or the manufacture
will be analysed in one of our technical assi-
stance centres or in our firm and their payment
will depend on the results.
The guarantee does not include: casual dama-
ges, damages for transport, for carelessness or
unsuitable use, for wrong or unsuitable use and
installation, not according to the instructions
and functioning or the use of the machine.
The guarantee is no more valid when the
machine is repaired by people non authorized.
You cannot get the replacement of the machine
nor the extension of the guarantee-period after
a damage.
The reparation takes place in one of out
Authorized Technical Assistance Centres or in
our firm and it has to come in free-port, i.e. the
owner has to pay the transport costs.
The guarantee does not include the cleaning of
the functioning elements.
The manufacturer is not responsible for dama-
ges to people or thing, caused by bad installa-
tion or wrong use of the machine.
