1. OPTAIN
To obtain the best performance from this com-
pressor, yuo are advised to read this manual
completely before connecting and starting the
compressor.
In doing so, you will get acquainted with its
various controls, thus improving its yield right
from the start. Keep this manual in a safe place
for any future need.
- Unpacking
Open the packing carefully, and save all fittings
so that they are not lost.
Check that the blower did not suffer any dama-
ge during transport.
If it would be damaged or if it does not operate,
call your dealer.
The packing box must be kept if you should
transport or ship the blower to the manufacturer.
The parts which are not shipped in their original
packing cannot be collected.
2. IMPORTANT SAFETY REGULATIONS
Before using the compressor, read thoroughly
the safety regulations and the instruction.
To obtain best results, respect all warnings and
follow the instructions for use.
POWER SUPPLY: The compressor should be
supplied exclusively with the power indicated in
the manual or on the instrument.
SUPPLY CABLE PROTECTION: The supply
cable should be stretched so that it cannot be
treaded on or squeezed by things. Make sure
that the cable does not come in contact with sur-
faces with temperatures over 70° C.
At the end of operation, the cable must be
wound around the compressor handle.
REPAIRS: The user should never try to perform
repairs that are not described in this manual.
Any other operation should be entrusted exclu-
sively to agreed personnel.
ENGLISH
Always respect the following basic safety rules:
- Do not use the compressor with bare or wet
feet.
- Do not touch the compressor with wet hands.
- Do not pull the supply cable or the compressor
itself, to disconnect the plug from the socket.
- Do not allow any child to use the compressor.
- Do not leave the compressor unattended while
connected; it may become a potential danger.
- Should the cable with the plug be damaged,
replace it immediately with another cable
having the same characteristics.
The electric safety of this equipment is guaran-
teed only if the compressor is correctly connec-
ted to an efficient earthing plant, as provided for
by the electric safety regulations in force. The
manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any
damage caused by the lack of earthing of the
equipment.
2.1 INSTALLATION AND PLACE OF OPERA-
TION
Each compressor is supplied to the customer
aftrer undergoing strict controls on the manufac-
turer's premises.
To achieve the best performance, proceed as
follows:
- VENTILATION: The unit should be installed in
a place allowing correct ventilation.
- WATER: The compressor should not be expo-
sed to rain or strong water jets.
- VOLTAGE: Make sure that the mains voltage
corresponds to the voltage stated on the data
plate.
- CLOSING OF THE EXHAUST VALVE: Before
the running of the compressor, close the
exhaustvalve, witch is situated on the bottom
of the tank. This operation allow the air pres-
sure switch close and going in pressure.
3. OPERATION
1. Before starting the compressor, check that no
damage has occurred during transportation.
2. The start push-button should be in the
"OFF" or "0" position before connecting the
plug to the socket.
