CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT

The adjustable mechanical clutch make possible to limit the
pressure of the gate againts any obstacle in its path.
ADJUSTMENT
• Turn OFF the mains supply to geared-motor.
• Remove the cover from the geared-motor and remove
the plug (Fig.21-ref.1).
• Hold the screw firm with an Allen key 4 (
and adjust the nut with a fixed spanner 13 (ref.3):
- SCREW DOWN to increase pressure;
- UNSCREW to reduce pressure.
WARNING
The calibration value must be established on the site once
installation has taken place, and must comply with the
existing Safety current standard (EN 12445).
• Start up the geared-motor and check the gate thrust.
Repeat the checking and adjusting operations until
the obtained thrust pressures complies the current
regulations.
If the thrust pressure values exceed, it is necessary to install
a safety device in accordance with the EN 12978 standard.
• When these operations have been completed, replace
the plug (Fig.21-ref.1) SCREWING PARTIALLY DOWN to
allow air to escape.
• Re-close the cover and block it by the fi xing screw.
