3.3 Preparing balance
Note for 0.1 mg and 1 mg balances
For 0.1 mg balances, remove weighing pan and draft shield element.
For 1 mg balances, remove weighing pan and weighing pan support.
Note for balances without draft shield
If your balance is not equipped with a draft shield, you must install a draft shield to use the density determination
kit.
Note for SmartPan
If your balance is equipped with a SmartPan, you need to exchange the bottom plate with the delivered one.
1 Remove weighing pan and SmartPan (1).
2 Remove current bottom plate and install new bottom plate.
3.4 Assembling density determination kit
1 Note
For 0.1 mg balances, use compensation weight small, white.
For 1 mg balances, use compensation weight large, chrome
steel.
Screw bracket (1) on top of compensation weight (2). Fasten
screw firmly.
