MEDICAL CONDITIONS AND CLINICAL CLAIMS
This product is intended to compensate for loss/limitation of mobility
due to a lost lower limb. It is designed and tested for everyday use while
also allowing the user to partake in various sport activities.
It provides increased balance confidence throughout an active lifestyle
while also providing stability in standing.
The device should only be fitted and aligned by a qualified health care
professional.

INDICATION FOR USE

The foot is a non-invasive, single patient, reusable prosthetic device. The
Cheetah Xplore is tested and validated for exoskeletal prosthetic fittings
of lower extremities amputations.
TARGET POPULATION
Suitable for moderate to high active users
Maximum patient weight: 147 kg / 324 lbs
Minimum patient weight: 45 kg /99 lbs
This product is designed and tested based on single patient use, and is
not recommended for multiple patient use.
PRODUCT PARAMETERS (Figure 1)
• Weight: 646 g.
• Maximum height of the posterior brim: 521 mm
• Minimum height of the posterior brim: 348 mm
• Minimum clearance from the socket to the foot: 32 mm
• Foot size: 24-30

ALIGNMENT (Figure 1)

BENCH ALIGNMENT

Sagittal plane
• Determine vertical socket position in alignment jig.
• Adjust to appropriate heel height.
• Introduce appropriate socket angles flexion.
• The load line should fall at the junction of the posterior and the
middle third portions as shown in (Figure 1).
Coronal plane
• Introduce appropriate socket abduction /adduction using alignment
jig.
• Determine appropriate internal or external socket rotation.
NOTE: The recommendations for bench alignment are used as starting
point.
