A. Remove the cover plate from the lower left side when viewing the appliance from the front side by removing
the 3 screws (FIG. 1).
B. Remove the screws that are securing the cover plate.
C. Remove the terminal block from the power cord.
D. Discard power cord assembly.
E. Hard wire appliance. Refer to "120V hard wire connection" and "240V hard wire connection" sections.
F. Install the small end of the strain relief into the new cover plate (supplied in the hardware kit) by using the
screws previously removed in step B.

120V hard wire connection
Loosen the securing screw from the terminal block to remove the cord from the terminal block. KEEP 2

WIRE JUMPERS IN THE TERMINAL BLOCK.
Add a strain relief and feed the supply wires through the 7/8" (22mm) hole from the terminal block.

Insert White (N) wire from power supply to the designated (N) slots in the terminal block. Secure by

tightening the screws on the (N) slots. ENSURE JUMPER WIRES ARE SECURED.
Run Black (L1) and Green (G) wires from the power supply to designated slots on the terminal block.

Re-install cover plate.

Leave enough wiring so that the appliance can be removed from the enclosure without disconnecting the
appliance from the power supply.
