3. FIND THE BEST LOCATIONS FOR THE HANDSET AND
THE ROADSIDE PANEL

1 Open the battery compartment on
the back of the roadside panel.
c . Select an AUDIO transmission code (AG 651 & AG 652)

1 Open the compartment and position the battery.
2 Connect the adapter to the handset base.
3 Place the handset on its base.
4 The red charge LED should come on.
5 Leave the handset to charge for at least 10 hours.
1 Enable programming by setting microswitch 4 on the roadside panel to On
and microswitch 1 on the handset to On.
2 Set microswitches 2 on the roadside panel and the handset to On or Off.
3 Set microswitches 3 on the roadside panel and the handset to On or Off
(do not set to 'Off' if microswitches 2 are set to 'Off').
4 Press the button on the roadside panel. If correctly synchronised, the LED
behind the nameplate will flash green and red.
5 After programming, reset microswitch 4 on the roadside panel and micros-
witch 1 on the handset to Off.
IMPORTANT : The handset has an autonomy of approximately 8 hours.
If the battery is recharged after becoming fully discharged, it may be neces-
sary to remove the battery from the handset for a few seconds, re-insert it,
and re-program it completely if communication is not restored when charging
is complete (sections 1, 4 and 5).
