IKAR HRA height safety device with rescue hoisting facility as a
component:
The IKAR HRA height safety device with rescue hoisting facility is affixed
using the mounting bracket on the leg that is fastened on the type label.
For this, mount the mounting bracket (, and ) on the leg so that
the safety monitor can operate the rescue crank ergonomically and
comfortably in the event of a rescue. The correct clamping tension of the
mounting bracket is attained by the length (45.8 mm) of the spacer sleeves
supplied. The tightening torque of the hexagon socket bolts of quality class
8.8 M10x75 is 49 Nm. The safety bar should be positioned in line with the
device size. The tightening torque of the cylinder head screws of quality
class 8.8 M8x40 is 20 Nm.
Insert the IKAR HRA device into the mounting bracket. The IKAR HRA
device is secured using safety bolts

Caution: Only use IKAR mounting brackets.
Only IKAR equipment should be attached with IKAR mounting brackets.

Deflection roller with snap hook:
The deflection roller serves to guide and deflect the steel rope of the
IKAR HRA height safety device. Open the closed
deflection roller () by twisting the two plates and insert the steel
rope into the guide groove. Then twist the two plates back. Clip
snap hook to deflection roller and fasten to the anchorage point of
the tripod.
Caution:
Only use snap hooks made from steel in compliance with EN 362
Class B.
Tighten the screw lock on the snap hook.
Check pulley for ease of movement
