Stopping the disinfection cycle.
• Press multifunction button STOP to interrupt the disinfecting cycle at
any time.
• A confi rmation message will appear on the console display:
- Press multifunction button ESC so that the disinfecting cycle is no longer
stopped. The cycle menus can now be viewed.
- press multifunction button OK to interrupt the disinfecting cycle. An
intermediate menu showing the set time and instruments withdrawn is
displayed.
NOTE: At this point, the dental unit is shutdown.
• The following operations can now be performed:
- press multifunction button ESC to go back to the initial menu used to
set the times. Here it is possible to restart the disinfecting cycle from the
beginning, if desired, changing the time the disinfectant has to be left in
and/or adding other instruments to be disinfected.
- press button MENU to go to the "Instrument fl ushing" menu to fl ush the
ducts of the withdrawn instruments.
- press multifunction button ( ) to restart the disinfecting cycle from the point
at which it was interrupted.
• press multifunction button ( ) on the "Instrument fl ushing" menu to start
the cycle to drain and fl ush the ducts of the instruments withdrawn using
municipal water or distilled water (if the S.S.S. system is present).
NOTE: Once the disinfection cycle has been completed ("Cycle
completed: put instruments back in place" appears on the display) simply
put the instruments removed back into place to resume work.
How to store the hydrogen peroxide.
Follow the manufacturer's instructions given on the package to correctly store
the hydrogen peroxide solution.
ATTENTION!
Never leave hydrogen peroxide in the tank (a) for more than one month.
When you are going to be away from the offi ce for an extended period of
time (holiday), always empty the tank (a) before leaving.
NOTE: a suction tube should be used to empty the tank. :
Error messages shown on the console display.
If the system detects a malfunction, a fault message appears on the display
screen (see paragraph 11.).
ATTENTION!
If the disinfecting cycle is incorrectly interrupted, the equipment will shutdown until either the disinfecting cycle is performed again or the
washing cycle is carried out.
