Adjusting the level detection device

A rise in the water level during operation indicates that the system is soiled. The level detection device
signals possible soiling to the control system and the cleaning cycle is started.
The water level in the filter system is independent of the water level in the pond. The water level in the
filter system is dependent upon the circulation capacity. Therefore it may be necessary to adjust the level
detection device.
The level detection device can be fitted in two positions.
► Position 1: Suitable for circulation capacities greater than 9000 l/h (factory default setting).
► Position 2: Suitable for circulation capacities smaller than 9000 l/h and fewer automatic cleaning
intervals.
How to proceed:

1. Undo both lock nuts. Remove nuts and Allen screws.
2. Move the level detection device according to the hole pattern and fix in place with Allen screws and
lock nuts. Tighten both nuts.

Setting the foam filter status detection

The status detection detects the water level in the filter container. The heavier the soiling of the foam
filters, the higher the water rises in the filter container. When the status detection triggers the system
message Er77, the foam filters should be cleaned. (→ Cleaning foam filters)
► The system message Er77 is not triggered until the status detection has been activated continuously
for 12 hours. This prevents brief fluctuations in the water level from triggering the system message.
► The status detection can be deactivated if necessary. (→ E7: Foam filter status detection)
The position of the status detection determines at what water level the system message Er77 is triggered.
The status detection factory setting is ideal for most applications. If the system message Er77 is required
at a different degree of soiling, it is necessary to adjust the position of the status detection.
