SAFETY RECOMMENDATIONS

Read the instructions carefully before using your appliance for the first time; Krups cannot be
held liable if the appliance is not used in accordance with the instructions.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capacities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Before connecting the appliance, ensure that your supply voltage corresponds to the rating of the
appliance and that the supply socket is correctly earthed.
Any connection error will invalidate the guarantee.
This product has been designed for domestic use only. Any commercial use, inappropriate use or failure
to comply with the instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the guarantee will not
apply.
Unplug the appliance as soon as you have finished using it and when you clean it.
Do not use your appliance if it is not working correctly or if it has been damaged. In such cases, contact
a Krups approved service centre.
Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface away from water splashes and any other
sources of heat.
Any work on the appliance other than normal care and cleaning by the customer must be carried out by
a Krups approved service centre.
Do not use the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged. To avoid any danger, you should
have the faulty part replaced by a Krups approved service centre.
Do not immerse the appliance, the power cord or the plug in water or any other liquid.
Do not allow the power cord to hang down within reach of children.
The power cord must never be close to or in contact with the hot parts of your appliance or any other
source of heat and should be kept away from sharp edges.
