Perimeter wire layout

The perimeter wire needs to be set up around the lawn to define the areas you want to
cut. Pegs will keep the wire in place. Use a mallet to insert them in the lawn. This part
of the installation will most likely take you the greatest amount of time. So we will take
you through it step by step.
Alternatively, it is also possible to bury the perimeter wire, with a maximum depth of
5 cm.

Why
space
Your Miimo needs 30 cm of space to run
30 cm
alongside a wall / fence and to turn whilst
mowing.
Your Miimo can easily run over surfaces
5 cm
that are level with the lawn. This is not
valid for loose ground (e.g. gravel).
This is for safety reasons. If there is a
power cut your Miimo might travel up to
> 75 cm
50 cm beyond the perimeter wire. You do
not want your Miimo ending up in a pond if
there is a power cut!
The minimum required distance between
objects is 135 cm. This is needed to
ensure that both objects can be excluded
with the wire and still provide enough
> 135 cm
space for Miimo to navigate between
them. (2 x 30 cm distance to the objects
+ 75 cm between the wires). A reduced
distance may cause interference.
