Signal strength measurement

The IP alarm module can measure the signal strength of trained
wireless detectors and display it on the LEDs. Proceed as follows
to measure the signal strength of trained wireless detectors:
In the main programming menu, select item 4 (LED 4 lights up).
Confirm by pressing SET.
Note: A detector test can only be made when at least one wireless
detector has been trained. If no detectors have been trained, a
double tone sounds.
Trigger a detector. After the signal is received, the signal strength
can be determined according to the number of blue LEDs. For
sufficient wireless communication, at least three blue LEDs must
light up.
After testing the detectors, exit the programming mode by pressing
ESC/DEL.
Only the power supply LED lights up and the fault LED lights up.
The IP alarm module beeps at short intervals.
Close both tamper contacts of the IP alarm module and wait until it
emits a double tone.

Setting the output polarity

The outputs must be set to normally open (NO) in order to
guarantee problem-free operation of the IP alarm module.
In the main menu, select menu item 5 with SELECT and confirm by
pressing SET.
LED 1 shows the status of output 1 and LED 2 the status of output
2. You can switch between the outputs using SELECT (LED 3 and
LED 4 have no meaning here). To edit one of the two outputs,
confirm with SET and a double tone sounds.
A lit LED indicates normally open (NO) and a flashing LED indicates
normally closed (NC). You can now switch the polarity using
SELECT and confirm by pressing SET. A double tone sounds and
menu 5 is accessed again.

Operating mode

This menu describes how to train the IP alarm module in the
corresponding components and how to operate the alarm module
with the internal siren, info module and wireless socket. Two output
groups are available. Channels 1 to 4 are assigned to output group
1 and channels 5 to 8 to output group 2.
