5.2 INTERNAL TESTS IN AUTOMATIC CYCLIC SEQUENCE
The tests carried out in sequence are the following and each one of these controls is
signalled by the lighting up of the relative LED.
a) Motor 1 relay piloting control (L4)
b) Direction relay piloting control (L5)
0
c) Motor 2 relay piloting control (L6)
3,5
d) Pilot light output control (L9)
8
e) Electric lock relay piloting control (L7)
16
At the end of this first phase (lasting approximately 20 sec.), if no problems are found,
the diagnostics LED (L9) flashes for 5 seconds and remains ON, while the system
prepares to carry out tests on the input circuits. If no input is controlled within 50 seconds,
the test starts again from the beginning.

5.3 INPUT CIRCUIT TESTS
3
To test the input circuits, it is sufficient to activate the input to be tested and check that
0
the microprocessor detects that this input has switched. If the microprocessor receives

the switching signal, the diagnostic LED (L9) flashes for 5 seconds. If, the pulse is not
received by the microprocessor, the diagnostic LED (L9) remains ON to indicate an
input fault.
At the end of the tests, turn OFF the power supply and reprogram the device for the
required logic (type of functioning).
The device has two expansion connectors, called J4 and J5, that can be used to connect
the following optional boards:
• CL board for courtesy light
• SL2 board for beacon ET1 (24 V)
• RA-AS board for leaf opening delay and single leaf
• ES board for one-way traffic light
6.1 CL BOARD FOR COURTESY LIGHT
Functioning
This board is used to command a light up to 100 W with a power of 230 V. Each time the
opening pushbutton is pressed, this light comes ON and remains ON for the entire
opening cycle and for a further 2 and a half minutes. It is also possible to connect more
than one light in parallel, provided that the overall wattage does not exceed 100 W.
Connection method
1. Turn OFF the power supply to the device
2. Fit the board onto connector J4 or J5 matching up the pins
3. Connect the terminal board to two terminals on the CL board, so that the power
supply to the light or lights can be interrupted.
