AXIS A1001 Network Door Controller
DIN Rail Mount
1. If required, install a DIN rail (not included).
2. If required, remove the cover screw, insert a slotted screwdriver into the cover removal
slot and remove the cover. See Hardware overview on page 15.
3. Hook the lower DIN clip, which is flexible, onto the bottom of the DIN rail, tilting the
base slightly forwards.
4. Lift the base so that the lower DIN clip reaches its bottommost position.
5. Tilt the base backwards so that it is parallel to the wall/ceiling.
6. Hook the upper DIN clip onto the top of the DIN rail by lowering the base.

7. Secure the base using four screws. Make sure that the screws and plugs are appropriate
for the material (e.g. wood, metal, sheet rock, stone). See Wall and Ceiling Mount on
page 31.
