Selecting the CTCSS
There are 38 analogue codes (CTCSS 1 − 38) available per channel. It is only possible to communicate using the walkie−talkies
when they are each set to the same channel and CTCSS/DCS code.
The CTCSS code is transmitted as an inaudible signal together with the standard voice communication. When received, the
voice communication signal is only transferred to the loudspeaker when the channel and CTCSS code set on the receiver are
identical to that of those received (settings on the transmitter). If, by coincidence, another subscriber is using the same channel
and CTCSS code, change to a free channel together with the party being called.
