The Maxi-Cosi RodiFix AirProtect has been approved in accordance
with the latest European safety standards (ECE R44/04) and is suitable
for children from 15 to 36 kg (approx. 3,5 years, with a maximum
height of 1,35 m or 1,50 m, depending on the current legislation in
the country of use).
Your child in the Maxi-Cosi RodiFix AirProtect
1. Never leave your child unattended.
2. Always secure your child with the seat belt.
3. E nsure that the car seat belt lies as low as possible under the
stomach, to properly support the pelvis.
4. Make sure the headrest is adjusted to the proper height.
5. B efore every use, make sure the car seat belt is not damaged or
twisted.
6. R emove all objects from the child's coat and trouser pockets so
they cannot get stuck between the child and the car seat belt.
Such objects could cause injury in case of an accident.
7. T ell your child not to play with the seat belt buckle and to keep
its head against the headrest.
WARNING:
Never adjust the recline position of the Maxi-Cosi RodiFix
AirProtect whilst your child is in it.
WARNING:
After fastening and adjusting the RodiFix AirProtect seat
with ISOFIX Connectors onto your vehicle's ISOFIX fastening
points, you may encounter difficulties moving it from the
lie-flat position to the seated position and vice versa.
This inconvenience may be due to your vehicle's seat type.
In this event, please do the following:
- Check that your vehicle's headrest has been removed,
- Then unlock the ISOFIX connectors from the vehicle's
ISOFIX fastening points,
- Adjust to the desired reclining position (seated or lie flat),
- Lock the ISOFIX Connectors back onto the vehicle's ISOFIX
fastening points.
Fastening the Maxi-Cosi RodiFix AirProtect with the ISOFIX-
connectors using the ISOFIX system from the vehicle.
ISOFIX-connectors have been developed to ensure secure and
easy fastening of the child systems in the car. Not all cars have an
ISOFIX child restraint system. Please consult the car manufacturer's
handbook. Consult the attached list of cars in which it has been
checked that the seat can be installed correctly. Future updates of
this list can be checked on the website www.maxi-cosi.com.
