damage to the eyes.
− Available protective measures (e.g. anti-glare protection) should be used.
− If present, do not look into the fiber optic cable of a light source, to prevent damage to the
eyes.

Please note the following when handling UV light sources:
− Gas-discharge lamps, LED lights and other sources of white light may emit ultraviolet
radiation. This can cause burns to the eyes and skin.
− When using the microscope, always use the protective devices provided with the device
(e.g. special attenuation filters, anti-glare protection or fluorescence shield).
WARNING
Risk of flammable base
− Operate the device only on a hard, non-flammable base, as this may otherwise warp or
ignite.
CAUTION
Risk of electric shock, overheating of the power cable, in worst case, fire
Where there are detachable power cables, please note the following:
− Detachable power supply cables must not be replaced with power supply cables that do
not meet the specifications.
− Use only the specified power cables to avoid these becoming severely overheated.
CAUTION
Risk of electric shock
The microscope stand is equipped with a standby button, please note the following:
− Switching the device off at the standby button only switches off the low voltage internally.
It does not switch off the life-threatening mains voltage in the device.
