INTRODUCTION

RESIDENT - SYSTEM PROGRAMMING USING THE HOUSE PHONE

A house phone is a telephone with an actual wiring connection to the EL1SS system . See call forwarding instructions on page 17 .
PROGRAM DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION OR SETTING

**01 ENABLE CALL FORWARDING
Factory Setting: Disabled
NOTE: This setting requires the system to be connected to the residence's
phone line and Telco Mode to be enabled (see page 14).
**02 DISABLE CALL FORWARDING
**03 ENABLE INTERCOM MODE
Factory Setting: Disabled
**06 VERIFY CALL FORWARDING NUMBER (VIA CALLER ID)

ENABLE TELCO MODE
Factory Setting: Enabled
**#8 ERASE CALL FORWARDING NUMBER
NOTE: This command will also disable the call forwarding mode.

ADJUST "PICK UP" RING COUNT

**13 ENABLE ALTERNATE DTMF (DUAL TONE MULTI FREQUENCY)
PROGRAMMING
This feature changes the leading programming digits from ** to ## (and
*# to #*) to work around phone lines (or telephone equipment) that reacts
to the * tone .
Factory Setting: Disabled
NOTE: The telephone line should be disconnected while entering this
