Instructions for use
Demount the tyres and check the size of the damage.
Check for restorability, also based on guideline §36 StVO (BMV/StV 13/36):
■ Max. Cut-in angle 40°.
Up to TR-car max. 3 repairs per tyre, min. per 30° distance of each other
■
Up to HR-car max. 2 repairs per tyre, min. per 30° distance of each other
■
At motorcycle max. 1 repair per tyre
■
At LD truck, truck, agricultural tractor, earth moving machines or similar, always predrill with
■
6 mm drill.
As the case may be, remove the item which has caused the hole. Clean the penetrated position
with the pricker. Attention! Do not prick another hole! Remove rust or humidity completely.
Use 1KPUR/ASK Cleaner (Art. No 6110 1000) to roughen the inside surface (-2,5 cm diameter)
around the damage. Press approx. 3 drops of the rubber solution into the eyelet of the insert
awls and then insert into the hole channel. This process has to be done until the stitch channel is
totally bedabbled. Pull the repair stick half way through the eye of the insert awl. Avoid impurity of
the repair sticks! For lubricating dip the top of the insert awl into the rubber solution.
