Procedure for installing the GMP
NOTICE
Torque for the GMP = 20 Nm
The GMP may only be installed using a hook
and pin spanner DIN 1810B, inserted into the
boreholes provided.
Do not use pliers or similar tools on the main
body (5) as there is a risk of damage.
DANGER
When removing installed parts, be prepared
for them to be expelled at great speed.
Danger of fatal injury.
When installing, proceed as follows:
– Inspect the GMP visually.
– Remove the screw plug (13).
– Clean the sealing surfaces.
– Screw the GMP with the seal ring (12)
directly onto the pipe, or the adapter.
EN
– When tightening the GMP on the connection,
the spanner must only be inserted in the
boreholes provided.
– The GMP must be installed securely to
withstand vibrations during operation or any
break in the connection lines.
3.6 Permitted media
Safety devices must only
be used on accumulators
operated with nitrogen. Never
use other gases. Risk of
explosion.
In principle, only use nitrogen of at least
Class 4.0 (99.99 %).
Deviations from these specifications must be
agreed with HYDAC.

3.7 Permitted operating
temperatures
The permitted operating temperature is
indicated in the stamped marking and the
declaration of conformity.
3.8 Permitted operating pressure
The permitted operating pressure is indicated
in the stamped marking and the declaration of
conformity.
3.9 Pressure setting
The pressure setting of the GSV is indicated
in the stamped marking and the declaration of
conformity.
3.10 Mass flow rate ṁ as a
function of the pressure
setting p on the GSV
For the graph relating to GSV, see fold-out
page.
The operating range of the GSV is shown by
the area marked 1).
ṁ = mass flow rate in [kg/h]
p = pressure setting in [bar]
3.11 Fuse temperature as a factor
of pressure p on the GMP
For the graph relating to GMP, see fold-out
page.
t = fuse temperature in [°C]
p = pre-charge pressure in [bar]
3.12 General
