Steering cable (nozzle side)
QSTS cable (nozzle side)
Recommended grease:
Yamaha marine grease,
Yamaha grease A
(Water resistant grease)
4. Lubricate:
Steering cable
Steering cable joint
Shift cable
Shift cable joint
NOTE:
Disconnect the joints and apply a small
amount of grease.
Recommended grease:
Yamaha marine grease,
Yamaha grease A
(Water resistant grease)
5. Fill:
Bearing housing
Starter motor idle gear
Recommended grease:
Yamaha marine grease,
Yamaha grease A
(Water resistant grease)
NOTE:
Fill the bearing housing and the starter
motor idle gear with water resistant
grease through the grease nipples.
Add the grease slowly and carefully or it
could damage the hose and the joints.
