Child-proof lock/Programme lock

3 When the child-proof lock is activated,
– the switched-off appliance can not
be started;
– a running programme can not be
changed anymore.
To activate the child-proof lock:
• Press both buttons indicated by the
arrows simultaneously and hold them
for approx. 2 seconds, until the fol-
lowing message is displayed:
"Cycle locked".
• When a programme is running, a mes-
sage such as below is displayed:
"Cycle locked on Cotton 60°C".
3 If the programme selector is set to
»Stop«, the programme stops and the
following message is displayed:
"Cycle locked: return to ...".
• In this case select the original pro-
gramme, then deactivate the child-
proof lock.
To deactivate the child-proof lock:
• Press both buttons indicated by the
arrows simultaneously and hold them
for approx. 2 seconds, until the fol-
lowing message is displayed:
"Cycle unlocked".

Spin speed selector

3 Each programme automatically sets
the maximum spin speed suitable (see
"Programme table").
On the left of the display the current
speed is shown – in revolutions per
minute (speeds depending on model).
For especially sensitive textiles the spin
speed should be reduced.

• By turning the spin speed selector
the spin speed can be changed – or
completely deselected:
spin speed indication "0".
• When spinning is deselected, the ap-
pliance does not spin at programme
end but only pumps off the water.
3 The higher the spin speed, the lower
the residual moisture.
If you wish to dry your laundry in a
dryer afterwards, select the maximum
spin speed – this helps saving energy
when drying.
