Display

All settings and conditions of the appliance
are shown on the display as plain text mes-
sages:
Hello
– General settings, time, child-proof
lock, etc.;
– Programme settings, such as pro-
gramme, temperature, spin speed,
programme end;
– Programme run messages, indicating
the state of the running programme;
– Warning messages, signalling any un-
usual condition of the appliance;
– Error messages, indicating necessary ac-
tion, e.g. contacting customer service.
For detailed information about these mes-
sages see "Display messages".
3 If no programme is selected, the dis-
play will turn off after approx.
1 minute (to save energy).
Actuating the programme selector, the
»Start/Pause«
button will turn the display on again.

Changing the display language

The default language for display messages
is factory set.
If you wish to select a different language:
1. Press both buttons, indicated by the
arrows simultaneously and hold them
for approx. 2 seconds.

The currently set language flashes on
the display.
2. Turn the spin speed selector
the desired language appears on the
display.
The display continuous flashing.
3. Press the »Time«
this language.
The display stops flashing.

Setting the time of day

The time needs to be set:
– after the appliance has been connect-
ed to the mains,
– after a power failure,
– at change-over of summer/winter
time.
3 If the clock is not set, " 0.00 " flashes
on the display.
Here's how to set the time:
1. Set the programme selector to »Stop«.
2. Press the »Time«
twice, until a message such as the fol-
lowing flashes:
It is 12:00
3. While the display flashes, turn the de-
lay-timer knob until the correct
time is set, e.g.:
" It is 13:00 ".
4. After a few seconds, the display will
stop flashing and shows the new time:
" 13:00 "

Setting the time display mode

The time for a programme can be dis-
played in two different ways:
– Indication of the programme end
time , e.g.
" 1200 ends 20:30 ".
This display mode is factory set. All ex-
amples illustrated are shown in this
display mode.
