CAUTION – PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not add any foods to the water bath unless they are

firmly sealed. Any water getting into the food will produce
unfavourable results or spoil the food.
Ensure that the appliance, the mains cable and the plug do
►
not come into contact with heat sources such as hotplates or
naked flames.
Never place the appliance near sources of heat.

Never open the housing. If you do, it can no longer be as-
►
sured that the appliance is safe, and the warranty will be
invalidated.
Allow the appliance to cool down completely before clean-
►
ing and stowing it away it.
In the case a malfunction occurs on the appliance, an error
►
code will blink on the display. When the error codes "Er1",
"Er 2", "Er 3" or "Er 6" are displayed, switch off the appli-
ance immediately, pull the mains plug out of the socket and
contact the Service Hotline (see Section Service).
The error code display "Er4" informs you that the appliance
is not in the water. Handle the appliance as described in
the Section Preparing the appliance. The error code
display will then go out.
The error code display "Er5" informs you that the water
temperature is too high. Switch the appliance off, take it out
of the water and let it cool down. Then continue the cooking
process with water at a temperature that is below the tem-
perature that is programmed (see Section Programming
the appliance). The error code display will then go out.
