Addressing
If no addressing is desired, select the setting 0 in the menu item 8.
If the units are to be addressed selectively, they will receive an individual address.
Whether this address has one, two or three digits is set in the menu item 8.
The address (1...999) is set in the menu item 9. The address 0 is reserved as
broadcast address, which is used to address all units. When the unit receives the
address 0, it will not send back a telegram reply.
If the address 0 is set in the menu item 9, the unit will be addressed by every
address, but will not send back a telegram reply.
Time-out
If and the time after which a time-out occurs can be set in menu item t. Time-out
means that minus signs are displayed if the unit has not received a data telegram
after a defined time.
Decimal point
A decimal point can be set in menu item A.
The decimal point can also be activated with the characters 2C
and 2E
via the
h
h
serial interface. For this purpose, setting 0 (no decimal point) must be selected in
menu item A.
A decimal point set in menu item A has priority over a decimal point activated via the
serial interface.
Leading zero suppression
In menu item C one can set whether leading zeros are to be displayed or
suppressed.
