2. Safety
Before using the new scale, please take a little time to read the following safety instructions.
Warnings
• Never use the seca 956 chair scale for
transport purposes. Do not use
seca 956 chair scale to transport peo-
ple or objects. If you transport people
or objects using the chair scale, there is
an acute risk of injury.
• Never place the seca 956 chair scale
on sloping surfaces. The brakes on the
casters could be released.
• Prevent the scale from rolling away ac-
cidentally. Use the wheel brake when
the patient is sitting down or getting up

lar frame and a firmly bolted seat. The free-
running casters make the scale very easy
to move. The wheel-locking lever, together
