8. Loosen the protective cap for the water reservoir and remove it. Empty the water
reservoir and place it back into the device. Place the protective cap back in position.
You can now continue cleaning.
9. After the cleaning, switch off the device by pressing the On/Off button.
10. Empty and clean the water reservoir each time after you use the device (see
below) to prevent deposits in the reservoir and thus damage to the device!

CAUTION!
❐ Empty and clean the water reservoir each time after you use the device to prevent
deposits in the reservoir and thus damage to the device!
❐ Never immerse the device in water or other liquids!
❐ Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These can damage the surface.
1. Detach the cleaning attachment with the scraper lip from the main device by pressing
the release switch (2) and pulling the attachment off in an upward direction.
2. Clean the attachment with the scraper lip under cold running water.
3. Empty and clean the water reservoir:
– Release the protective cap for the water reservoir.
– Remove the water reservoir and
– allow all of the water from the reservoir to fl ow into a sink.
4. If necessary, wipe down the outside of the device with a soft, slightly damp cloth and
dry it with a soft cloth.
5. Allow all parts of the device and accessories to dry completely before you put the
device away into storage.
6. Store the device in a cool, dry indoor room out of the reach of children and animals.

Troubleshooting

If the device should stop working properly, fi rst check whether you are able to correct the
problem yourself. Otherwise you should contact the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective device yourself!

Possible cause/solution
• Are batteries inserted in the device? Check the correct
polarity.
• Are the batteries empty? Insert new batteries. Use a suit-
able mains plug to check whether the device works.
• Is the water reservoir fi tted correctly?
• Have you pressed the On/Off switch?
