Dear customer,
Congratulations on purchasing a component of System 9 by BURY. You have chosen a high-quality product
that is extremely easy to use. BURY's purchasing, production and service & sales are subject to strict
quality management according to DIN EN ISO 9001. The product on hand meets with CE and e1 security
standards.
To become familiar with the product and enjoy using it for a long time please read the operating manual
carefully, observe all information and keep it for reference purposes in your vehicle.
If you have any further questions concerning the installation or operation, please contact your dealer. He
will be happy to give you reliable advice and will forward your feedback and suggestions to the BURY team.

Security advice
Installation - who and where
If you are familiar with the electronics of your car you can install the hang-up cup (basePlate) yourself. As a
rule, we tend to recommend having the installation carried out by a Bury local retailer.
Power supply
The power supply of the basePlate has been designed for use in vehicles with a main power supply of 12
volt (passenger car). If you intend installing the device in a vehicle with a main power supply of 24 volt
(lorry), please use a voltage converter.
Depending on the vehicle electronics (steady plus / ignition plus) the components will be continuously
supplied with power. If you leave your vehicle for a longer period, please remove the mobile phone from the
cradle. This will protect your battery and avoid any unnecessary problems with your insurance company in
the case of theft.
Positioning
Mount the basePlate in your vehicle so that it does not impair your range of vision and that the components
are not in an impact zone of the passenger compartment or in an airbag unfolding area. Very important:
please note the car manufacturer's information (operating manual) as regards "accessories". If in doubt,
please contact a specialist workshop to get information on the correct position for installation in the vehicle.
Operation in road traffic
Only operate the system components traffic allowing and when there is no jeopardy, impairment, constraint
or inconvenience to other road users.
Proper operation
Damages caused by improper use of the components may result in a warranty loss. Therefore, read the
operating instructions carefully. Do not expose the components to moisture, extreme temperatures or
vibrations. Attempts to repair the device by unqualified personnel can be dangerous for the user. Therefore,
only qualified personnel is authorised to carry out inspections.
