Basket insert
Spatula
ATTENTION!
■ Risk of injury when using unsuitable utensils! Only use the enclosed spatula with
the safety disc for further stirring in the mixing bowl. Never insert other objects (e.g.
spoons, wooden spoons) in the mixing bowl. They could get caught by the rotating
cross-blade adapter and cause injury.
■ The spatula must not be used when the stirring adapter is in use.
The spatula has various functions:
• It is suitable for scraping out the mixing bowl.
• It is the only utensil you can use to stir the contents of the mixing bowl during operation
when the stirring adapter is not mounted. Insert it into the mixing bowl through the lid
opening. The safety disc prevents the spatula from getting caught by the cross-blades.
• The spatula can be used to fi x the basket insert in place to strain out pieces of fruits
and vegetables when pouring out sieved fruit and vegetable juice (see section "Bas-
ket insert").
• You can use the spatula to remove the hot basket insert from the mixing bowl.

The basket insert is inserted in the mixing bowl and
is suitable for:
• Filtering fruit and vegetable juices. If you have
chopped fruits and vegetables in the mixing bowl,
put the basket insert in and use it as a strain-
er when pouring the liquid out. With the spatula
(see below), you can hold the basket insert tight
in the process.
• Steaming vegetables, side dishes (e.g. rice or
potatoes) and sensitive ingredients (e.g. fi sh
balls).
• Use the spatula to remove the hot basket insert
(see below).
