Removal
Follow the steps on how to insert the cross-blade adapter in reverse order:
1. Hold the top end of the cross-blade adapter tight with one hand.
2. Turn the mixing bowl upside down, loosen the wing nut by turning it counterclockwise
and remove it.
3. Pull the cross-blade adapter out of the mixing bowl.

Blade guard

The blade guard prevents food from being sliced whilst stirring.

1. Insert the cross-blade shaft
through the opening in the mix-
ing bowl.
2. Hold it tight, turn the mixing
bowl upside down and fi t the
wing nut on the end of the
shaft.
3. Turn the wing nut clockwise
until tight.
4. Make sure that the cross-blade
adapter is securely seated.
• The blade guard is fi tted on
the cross-blade adapter. Hold
the end of the cross-blade
adapter shaft (located on the
bottom of the mixing bowl). At
the same time, turn the blade
guard counterclockwise up to
the stop point.
• To take the blade guard back
off, turn it gently back and forth
while pulling it up and off.
