sediment, e.g., with a brush, may be necessary or there
may be "foreign materials" in the water that cannot be
flocculated. Check whether the wastewater is exclusively
wastewater from water-based painting materials.
The flakes float on the top:
This can occur if the water level in the reaction tank is
too low. During the flocculation process, air is mixed in,
which ensures that the flakes float. In this situation, do
not open the fresh water outlet (1) Fig.1 after flocculation,
but instead confirm the „Water drained" action and open
the drain (2) Fig.1 or (3) Fig.1, depending on which one is
displayed by the control.

Cleaning

When the clear water and most of the flakes have leaked
from the reaction tank, rinse the tank and agitator thoro-
ughly so that there are no remaining flakes and they may
harden. Then close all discharge gates.
Note on operating the system with a wastewater pump
for higher drains: while the sediment in the filter cages
is draining and the water from the filter cages is dripping
into the drain tank, please leave the system switched on.
This ensures continuous pumping and emptying of the
drain tank.
Info: The wastewater pump switches off briefly during
operation and thus checks whether there is still a suffi-
cient water level for pumping out. If the system is swit-
ched off, the pump is disabled; it does not restart until the
system is switched back on. For more detailed informati-
on, please refer to the operating instructions of the waste-
water pump.
Pay attention to the regular cleaning of the drain tank -
this should be rinsed from time to time with clear water.
To do this, switch on the system.

Filter cages

Once the filter cages have drained, remove the filled filter
cloths and fit them with a new filter cloth. Allow the used
filter cloths to dry with the sediment and then dispose of
them in accordance with local regulations.
Caution:
The filter cloths are disposable filters and should be dis-
posed of after a single use in order to ensure the correct
function of the system.

Control:

If the display has failed, the most likely reason is a blown
fuse (Art. No. 61 70 02). The fuse is located on the left
side of the rear cover next to the socket outlet.
