Risk of injury

Caution:
Never reach into the reaction tank while the system is
operational!
- There is a risk of crushing and impact during transport,
installation and operation of the system.

Electrical contact

The electrical connection for this device must be carried
out by an electrician and comply with national regulations.
It is recommended that a residual current circuit breaker
be installed in the electrical connection to this device to
interrupt the mains voltage if the residual current exceeds
30 mA for 30 ms.
The device uses a voltage range that can pose a hazard
for humans and animals. It must only be opened and/or
disassembled by authorised personnel. Similarly, main-
tenance and repairs must be performed by a qualified
electrician or an authorised repair shop. The owner/ope-
rator operates the device on their own liability and at their
risk.
Unplug the system's power plug for all installation work!
Caution rotating parts

Further details on handling:
When dispensing, refilling, metering and sampling, use
the following wherever possible: half or quarter mask.
During work, wear protective clothes, use suitable protec-
tive gloves and goggles/face protection, breathing appa-
ratus
The STORCH separating agent is specially designed for
use in the cleaning of waste water in painting and decora-
ting operations resulting from washing out tools, con-
tainers and work equipment which have been used with
water-based coating materials. Handling and use are sim-
ple.
After intensive admixing with the wastewater, the sepa-
rating agent causes the pollutants to separate and floccu-
late, thus allowing them to be filtered out as residues.
Note:
Before tools, containers and tools are washed out,
they must be scraped out and material residues retur-
ned to the material container in order to keep the
saturation of the washing water as low as possible!

Legal requirements

The ColorFree TOP separating system operates according
to the current state of the art and thus fulfils all require-
ments for the legally compliant indirect discharge of
waste water from painting and decorating companies into
the public sewage network.
The discharge regulations are regulated by corresponding
regulations at federal (Water Resources Act), regional
(Water Act) and municipal level (Indirect Discharger Ordi-
nance).
Since there may be different requirements in the indivi-
dual regions (place of occurrence), the operator of the
system may be subject to an approval or notification
obligation. Please enquire about this at your responsible
water authority.
