Water+more by BWT product features include maximum appliance safety, something that is a key
focus of attention at our company.
Despite all safety precautions however, every appliance presents a potential risk if not used properly.
For this reason and in the interest of your safety, we have summarised the "Operating and safety in-
formation" below. These should be heeded.

4 Operating and safety information

The water+more by BWT filter systems should
only be installed, brought into service and serv-
iced by trained, authorised staff.
In order to use water+more by BWT filter sys-
tems properly and safely, you have to follow the
instructions regarding installation, usage and
maintenance as described in this manual.
The buyer is obliged to follow the instructions
for use and/or the operating instructions exact-
ly, take heed of warning notices and to use the
device for its intended purpose only. Install and
operate the water+more by BWT filter system
exactly as described in the accompanying man-
ual. water+more by BWT is not responsible for
any damages or secondary damages arising
from faulty installation, improper use or incor-
rect operation.
Only cold water of drinking quality may be used
as feed water. Feed water of unknown microbio-
logical quality must never be used without ade-
quate disinfection.
If you are asked by the relevant authorities to
boil the tap water because it is contaminated by
microbes, this applies to the filtered water too.
If the authorities later state that the water may
be drank safely, the filter system must be re-
placed and the connections cleaned. For cer-
tain groups of people, such as babies and those
with reduced immunity, it is recommended to
boil the tap water before drinking. This applies
to filtered water too.
Silver has long proven its effectiveness in pre-
venting the growth of germs. water+more by
BWT filter systems therefore contain small
amounts of silver to maintain optimal hygiene
standards. A small amount of silver can be add-
ed to the water. It is perfectly safe and complies
with the relevant recommendations of the World
Health Organisation.
If you do not use water from the water+more
by BWT filter system for 2-3 days, it is advisa-
ble to rinse the filter with at least 2 litres of wa-
ter before using again. Avoid prolonged non-
use of the filter system. After being out of action
for four weeks or more, the filter system should
be replaced by an original from water+more by
BWT . Please remember that the filter system
should be used for a maximum of 12 months.
The filter head of the filter cartridge should be
replaced after five years (service life).
