Operating instructions

INITIAL OPERATION

Prior to working with the measuring device, you have to insert the enclosed batter-
ies.
Insert the batteries as described in the chapter „Maintenance and cleaning".

MEASURING WITH THE MULTIMETER

Do not exceed the maximum permitted input values within the
excess voltage category III. Do not contact circuits or parts of cir-
cuits if there could be voltages higher than 25 V ACrms or 35 V DC

The individual measuring functions can be set using the rotary
switch. If the rotary switch is set to „OFF", the measuring
device is switched off.
The „ON/OFF" button switches the cable tester on and off.
Always turn the measuring device and the cable tester off
when not in use.
