Maintenance
You can clean the roller shutter drive
with a damp cloth.
Important
Please do not use strong or abrasive
detergents.
Please check your roller shutter drive
and all components regularly for
damage:
- The guide pulley on the roller shutter
box must run smoothly.
- The webbing should not be frayed.
- Replace damaged parts.
... doesn't the roller shutter stop at the
set end stops?
Possible cause: The webbing has stret-
ched and the end stops have changed
as a result.
Solution: You have to reset the end stops
(see page 12).
... the indicator light fl ashes?
Cause: Brief power failure
NOTE: The end stops remain saved.
Solution: Stop the fl ashing by tapping
one of the two control buttons.
NOTE that after a power failure the
internal clock of the drive stops and
accordingly runs slow. Therefore, reset
the switching times again (see page 15).
... the roller shutter doesn't quite go up
after mounting?
Possible cause: The setting of the top end
stop is not proper.
Solution: You have to reset the top end
stop (see page 12).
... the roller shutter gets stuck when
closing?
Possible causes: There is a fault in the
roller shutter box.
The roller shutter is too
light.
Disconnect the power supp-
ly line before performing
repairs.
Solution: Open the roller shutter box
and eliminate the fault.
If the roller shutter is too
light, weigh it down. For this
purpose, insert, for example,
a suitable fl at iron into the
lowest lamella.
... the roller shutter drive doesn't respond
anymore correctly in manual or automa-
tic mode?
Solution: Perform a reset according to
page 18. Then repeat all settings begin-
ning on page 12.
