Before the installation
Preparing webbing
1. Cut the webbing about 20 cm
below the belt box.
2. Fold back the end of the webbing
about 2 cm and cut a short slit in
the middle. This way you can later
hook the belt onto the winding
wheel.

Taking measurements

CHECK THAT THE BELT BOX PROVIDES
AMPLE ROOM FOR THE ROLLER SHUT-
TER DRIVE.
NOTE
Make sure that the unit sits freely in the
belt box, otherwise it could lead to noise,
particularly if the roller shutter drive rests
against the masonry.

Recommendation

FOR SLUGGISH ROLLER SHUTTERS,
MOUNT A PULLEY ON THE ROLLER
SHUTTER BOX TO GUIDE THE WEB-
BING.
NOTE
The webbing must run as straight as
possible to avoid unnecessary friction
and wear.
