(continued)
TIG comfort-stop
Important! The "TIG comfort-Stop" parameter is only available on the TP 1500 TIG
parameter (for
power source.
the TIG welding
process)
The TP 1500 / TP 1500 RC power sources behave the same way at the end of welding
as does the TP 1500 TIG when the TIG comfort-stop function is deactivated.
The "TIG comfort-stop" parameter is for setting the TIG comfort-stop function.
Important! The setting made for the TIG comfort-stop parameter will also apply to the
"TIG pulsed-arc welding" process (10) (TP 1500 TIG only).
The setting made for the TIG comfort-stop parameter determines how much longer the
arc will briefly need to be made in order to trigger the TIG comfort-stop function.
If the welding operation is often being stopped unintentionally, set the TIG comfort-stop
parameter to a higher value
- Stage 0 ................ TIG comfort-stop function is deactivated
- Stage 1 ................ TIG comfort-stop function is initiated when the arc length is
- Stage 3 (4) .......... TIG comfort-stop function is only initiated once the arc length is
