5 After finishing work

5.1 Switching the vacuum
off and storage

1. Be sure that the vacuum is
switched off and unplugged.
2. Wind up the power cord onto
the handle (A). Begin wind-
ing up the cord at the vacuum
end and not the plug end to
prevent the power cord from
tangling up.
3. Empty the tank and clean the
vacuum.
4. After picking up liquids: Store
the upper section of the vac-
uum separately so that the
filter element can dry.
5. Wind up the hose (B) around
the upper section of the vac-
uum and use the hooks (C)
on the toolbox for support.
6. Store the vacuum in a dry
room where it is protected
from unauthorized use.
