Safety features

Fall safety
The heater is equipped with a topple safeguard which switches the heater off if it
accidentally falls over. Once it is placed upright, it will begin to work again but you
must unplug and check the heater for damage before reusing. If you find damage
or the heater does not work correctly, do not use and have it checked or repaired!
Overheating safeguard
In case of internal overheating, the overheating safeguard will switch the heater
off. This may occur if the heater cannot give off enough heat or if it cannot draw in
enough fresh air. As mentioned above, this is generally caused by (partially)
covering the heater, blocking the air inlet and outlet openings or installing the
heater too close to a wall or something similar. When the heater has cooled down
sufficiently, it will in principle start again automatically, however if you do not
remove the cause of the cut-off then this will probably be repeated. Regular
overheating can give rise to irreparable damage. If the overheating protection
switches the heater off, you must switch off the power buttons (buttons raised),
unplug and allow the heater to cool down. Remove and/or amend the cause of
overheating and reuse the heater as normal. If you cannot find a cause and
overheating recurs, stop using the heater, and take it in for inspection/repair. As an
extra safety feature, the heater has a second overheating protection that comes
into effect if the first one fails. If it switches off the heater, it will not automatically
restart after cooling: You must first switch off the heater with the power buttons
and remove the plug from the socket. After cooling, you can then start using the
heater again.
Autostop
The heater can heat a room for a maximum of 9 hours. This autostop ensures that
the heater switches off automatically. When you operate the heater with the app,
this autostop can be monitored via the countdown of minutes in the app.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Keep the heater clean. Deposits of dust and dirt in the appliance are a common
cause of overheating so these should be removed regularly. Switch off the heater,
