• Pull down tilt display bracket located on lower backside of therapy control unit.
• Hang therapy control unit on footboard.

If the arms of the therapy control unit cannot accommodate a large footboard, a separate hanging bracket is
available as an accessory, or the therapy control unit may be placed on a clean oor.
Verify air intake located on the back face of the therapy control unit is not blocked by a blanket or other

obstructions. The therapy control unit has a thermal cutoff that will, after a period of time, automatically
deactivate if the air intake is blocked.

Connect hoses to therapy control unit:
• Locate hose set coupler that holds three hose tab ends together.
• Turn hose set coupler such that hoses are stacked vertically (Fig. 1).
• Insert upper tab of coupler into horizontal slot on the right side of therapy control unit (Fig. 2).

Ensure hose set is not twisted.
• Pivot coupler downward, placing hose ends over air outlets, until bottom of coupler clicks into locked position
(Fig. 3).

Attach hoses to therapeutic surface air inlets:
• Match respective hose end colors to air inlet colors.
• Attach hoses snugly by turning them slightly as you push hose end onto
the air inlets.

Plug therapy control unit power cord into wall outlet.

Be sure power to this outlet is not controlled by a wall switch.

Press the power button. Therapy control unit will activate and the therapeutic surface
will in ate to provide a rm surface for patient transfer. The home display at right
will appear.
• Soft / rm display is the home display.

Motor will ramp-up, setting pressures during rst 25 seconds of operation. After
ramping-up and setting pressures, unit will be noticeably quieter.
Using the therapy control unit outside the recommended operating conditions could pose a hazard to patient or
caregiver.
• For non-ambulatory patients - Place non-ambulatory patients on a rm surface.
• For ambulatory patients - Place ambulatory patients on a de ated surface.

Power down therapy control unit.
• Press green power button to deactivate therapy control unit.
• Unplug therapy control unit from wall outlet.

All settings will be held in memory, and restored when therapy control unit is activated.

Inspect all components for visible damage. Verify basic functionality and inspect all hoses, cords and other
components for visible damage. Discontinue use and immediately contact manufacturer if damage is observed.
