Status indicators
The units with 25 mm character heights have on the back side status indicators
(LEDs) with the following meaning:
DATA Data transfer active (short flashing)
ERR Data transfer faulty (short flashing)
PWR No function
Interface
The units must be parameterized before they can be controlled. Parameterization
occurs in a menu (see 'Parameterization').
The interface has the following formats, depending on the unit version:
SX102-xx/xx/0x-00x/0B-S0: RS485 and RS232
SX102-xx/xx/0x-00x/0B-T0: TTY 20mA and RS232
Select in menu item 1 between the formats which are available in the unit.
In interface format RS485, you can select several settings in the menu item 1.
'Project planning information' describes which setting has to be selected.
The unit versions SX102-08/18/0x-00x/0B-T0, SX102-14/18/0x-00x/0B-T0 and
SX102-08/30/0x-00x/0B-T0 (TTY interface) supply terminal P with an auxiliary
voltage galvanically isolated from the power supply, for an active connection of the
current loop (24 V ± 20%, max. 50 mA, reference potential = COM).
