3.1 Installation
Ensure that the unit is installed on a level floor.
Use the separator with float, timed solenoid or level sensing drains only. Do not connect manual or thermodynamic disc trap drains.
Connect each drain to a common condensate manifold and connect to a separator with a single connection or connect up to 4 individual drains
to each inlet on the separator.
Connect the separator to a fowl sewer or sewer connected to water treatment facilities only. Never connect to surface water drains.
Remove the carbon bags from their transit packaging and soak in water for approximately 20 minutes, agitating frequently to remove air bubbles
and accumulated dust.
Roll the carbon bags between your hands prior to insertion into the carbon tubes.
Note: We recommend the use of gloves when handling the carbon bags.
3.2 Filling the unit
Remove the inspection cover (1) and fill the unit with clean
water (2) until the water comes out of the outlet pipe (3).
Remove the inspection cover over the funnel (4) (this is
located directly above the oil container).
Adjust the funnel so it is approximately 2 to 5mm above the
water level (5) and replace the inspection cover.
Take care when adjusting the funnel as the
edges may be sharp.
Attach the outlet pipe and run to a foul sewer.
attach the condensate drain lines from the system to the inlet
head.
Your unit is now ready for operation.
