4.8 TEOAE Diagnostic

In addition to the "pass" or "refer" result, the diagnostic TEOAE test provides information on the
intensity and the frequency where a response has been detected.
Test performance
Switch the device on and press TEOAE-D (see picture beside) on the main page to open
the test function.
The main screen displays three graphs: on the left side a histogram showing the signal/noise ratio for
the enabled frequencies, on the upper right the two A and B buffers and on the lower right the signal
and noise frequency response.
Press R (right) or L (left) to switch the ear to be tested.
Press START to start the test.
Press PAUSE to interrupt and resume testing.
